36″ Pallet Forks for Kubota BX (gen 1 and gen 2 models)

The Ai2 Products Gen-2 36” pallet forks were designed specifically for the capacity of the BX-Series tractors. These tractors have a lift capacity of around 400 to 600 lbs depending on the model you have so you have to extremely weight conscious with every attachment. The Ai2 pallet forks are no exception to this rule and have been improved to increase the strength of the carriage but also making it lighter at the same time. This new design has also moved the forks back about an inch from the old design which also helps keep the weight as far back as we can to help maximize the lift capacity for your BX loader.

The carriage is constructed of a .25” A36 plate and is designed using the tab slot construction tieing every part to the next part giving it an extremely durable design with less weight than the Gen-1 design and increasing the lift capacity because of the forks being repositioned further back on the carriage. The 2” torque has also been integrated into the carriage to give it a more streamlined look and finish. Plus narrows up the profile of the carriage! The backstop tube is at the same height as before but we’ve gone to the 2” round tube at the top which Flows nicely with the torque tube and gives the carriage added torsional strength. The carriage is painted with a durable powder coat finish in Kubota orange.

The big change with the Ai2 Products fork carriage is the new forks!!! The old fork design has been a great design and a very lightweight (32 Lbs) design, but at times they just weren’t up to the hardcore customers I have out there that really abuse their tractors. But the main reason was the construction of these forks was extremely time-consuming to continue with so a better option had to be found that would give us greater capacity, easier assembly but be cheaper to produce or at the very least the same cost. Well, we were able to meet and exceed all our requirements with this. We could not find an off-the-shelf fork that met all the requirements so we made one that would. The main fork assembly is purchased with a short fork back height which is fine since we make out our own custom mount. Having the shorter back give us a lighter fork and allows us to adapt this to our current carriage design but also lets us have an upgraded fork for all of our customer that has the Gen-1 one design carriage. So this fork is compatible with all of the Ai2 fork carriages. Plus the big news is that these forks are rated at 750 Lbs each so we have a combined 1500 lbs of fork capacity with our new design. Much more than what the tractor should be able to throw at them. The Ai2 pallet fork is 36” long x 3” wide x 1” thick and weighs in at 42 lbs each. These forks are painted with a durable powder-coated finish in a dark gray color.

An actual pallet fork carriage is still your best option over the clip-on bucket forks for moving pallets of material around the farm or moving logs out of the woods or just plain saving your back from lift bulky objects. The clip-on forks do work to some extent and will get some of the job done. But their design is inherently poor due to the fact that all of your weight will be out in front of the bucket cutting edge will reduce the lift capacity significantly depending on the design. Plus this will also end up damaging the bottom of the bucket shell where all the weight is carried. The pallet on the front of a clip-on set of the fork will end up about 20” further ahead of where our forks put the weight. So for the serious person that will use the forks at lot the Ai2 pallet forks, a will be a great investment. This is a must-have attachment that works perfectly in conjunction with the Ai2 Products BX-Series quick attach!!
