Hello everyone,
Got the parts back for the powder coater on Friday Dec 23, 2016 around 2pm for the Kubota
BX attachments 60″ loader mounted snow blade. They got full of crap on the way back in the slop and warm weather and melting we were having on friday!!! She’s back to being a cold and windy Be-atch today the 26th. So on christmas morning I was in the shop and got the parts washed off and started putting them together. Had the trip springs, pivot pins, skid shoes, cutting edge and the blade angle lock pin powdered in the kubota grey. The rest is Kubota orange. The attachments always seem to look better with that orange paint on them and then they pop out at you!! This 60″ snow plow
is no different. I have it just about done but need to cut some UHMW spacer washers for the blade pivot point yet, do that on the waterjet in the morning, then the last little bit is done. Then we put her on the tractor and take some pictures of the snow blade for the website. I had this thing out in the snow the other day and tried it all out. Like a moron I didn’t take any pictures of this!!! Wasn’t thinking straight that day I guess!! Worked very good and has a little more adjustment as far as cutting angle as the first one I build about this time last year. I do have a couple minor
adjustments I’ll be making to this and then start getting parts to make some more. Also working on the 72″ version of this if anyone is interested. Coming soon. Just added 6″ of blade off either side of the 60″ snow plow and then added an extra blade rib gusset as well to help with any twist in the blade frame!! Next year both of these balde will get the hydraulic angle option added to them. Have to get this done by fall of next year and not be so far behind like I am now with this Kubota BX snow blade!! So check this out and let me know what you think!! Thanks everyone!!! Check out our
Ai2 Products page on facebook as well or our Kubota BX-er Network group on facebook!!
