The Ai2 2” Rear Hitch Receiver and Tie Down gives you two critical functions in one accessory. First, it provides a place to secure your tractor when used in conjunction with the Ai2 Front Tie-Downs For Kubota BX Tractors , giving you the DOT-required four securing points.
The second use for this accessory is the 2” universal hitch receiver. This is constructed of 1/4” steel plate and allows you to utilize a standard truck receiver hitch or add another receiver hitch-style accessory like a weight bracket or cargo carrier. For heavy applications, the large gusset over the receiver tube gives it much greater strength and durability than other options.
The Kubota Receiver Hitch was designed to work with all Kubota BX tractors except those produced prior to 2007. Unfortunately, those earliest BX models do not have enough room for the receiver to fit under the tractor’s PTO. For a list of the excluded models, please see the specifications tab.
The Ai2 2″ Rear Hitch Receiver and Tie Down is a direct replacement for the Kubota BX factory ball plate. Just remove the ball plate and use the same bolts to fasten this accessory in its place. It does not interfere with the backhoe on the Kubota BX TLB models. The receiver will be able to stay on the tractor all the time and is still accessible to use as a tie-down when the backhoe is in place. This is a must-have accessory for the person who hauls their Kubota BX tractor around.
