This is the Ai2 products Rear Tie Down and Ball Plate. We developed this for people that don’t really need the rear receiver hitch but still want the tie-down point. So this is the same main plate as the receiver hitch but no receiver option. We’ve added the hole for a standard ball hitch to be bolted in, or it can be used for a clevis as well.

The Ai2 Rear Tie Down & Ball Hitch Plate’s design can fit all models of the BX family. The first several BX models that came out (we refer to them as the first generation – going back to approximately 1999/2000), can’t use the rear receiver hitch/tie-down due to the placement of the 3-point hitch on these models. This plate however works on all BX machines, including these generation 1 models. This gives you two good tie-down points of the 4 required by the DOT when hauling your tractor on public roads. Use our Front Tie Down Kit for the other end of the tractor and you’ll be covered. You will find this product will last for years of use and abuse.

About the Ai2 Rear Tie Down & Ball Hitch Plate

 

The Ai2 Rear Tie Down & Ball Hitch Plate is laser cut from ⅜” plate and has a powder-coat in a dark gray finish. It mounts to the factory holes in the frame and replaces the factory hitch plate. This hitch gives you two good tie down points of the 4 required by the DOT when hauling your tractor on public roads. Use our Front Tie Down Kit for the other end of the tractor and you’ll safely meet the requirement!

Note: Mounting hardware not included. Replaces rear plate and uses existing bolts.

    Bought this rear tie down along with the fronts a few months ago
    I don’t haul my tractor very often but did this last Friday & it reminded me how much I love them when I do need them I would highly recommend them & being a veteran owned company & made is the USA I will gladly pay more than some crap made in another country
    I’m currently waiting for my quick attach receiver mount & expect it will be of the same great quality
